There is nothing I love more than a great jumpsuit. It’s a one-stop recipe for feeling great about yourself. And, honestly, wearing a jumpsuit is a power move. Don’t feel like matching a top and pants, but still want to feel like a badass? Perfect. Don’t feel like having the ability to easily and quickly use the bathroom all day? Awesome. A jumpsuit is for you. I used to stay away from jumpsuits altogether because I was tall and not a size two and thought that the silhouette just wasn’t for me. But like just about everything I thought about my body and what I could and couldn’t wear, I was so very wrong.
Now I own probably a dozen jumpsuits and they’re the first type of clothing I gravitate towards when I just want to feel good without thinking about my wardrobe too much. Also, I don’t care what you’ve been told: if you’re short, tall, big, small, or some combination of all of the above, jumpsuits can work for you, too. Trust me. Here are some of my favorites.

I’m so excited about this weekend. Mom’s in town! Antique shopping! Tasting food for the wedding! Reservations at some of my favorite restaurants! Making a trip to a Super Target! Exploring the city! Buying new plants! Life is very, very good. 🌿 — What are your favorite things do on the weekend? What’s your perfect weekend?
SHOP HERE: Ban.do Pink & Black Jumpsuits
I was able to collaborate with ban.do for the launch of these size adjustable jumpsuits and it was pretty much a dream come true. Ban.do has been a brand I have loved for years and years, and being paid to advertise (size inclusive!!) clothing I truly loved was as satisfying as it gets. The thing is I truly love these pieces. They’re pre-shrunk (my god, there’s nothing worse than a jumpsuit shrinking into oblivion in the drying machine), soft AF, and adjustable so they can fit your body for years. They’re pricey, but they’re worth it. I’ve worn these jumpsuits to nice dinners, around the house, to concerts and everywhere in between. Get both colors. It’s worth it. Trust me.

I’ve never met a jumpsuit that didn’t make me feel like I could take on the whole world. And when it comes in sizes 00-26? Even better. This one is from @loft, and I’m excited to partner with them for this post. 🌸 — I don’t know much, but I do know that everyone deserves to have clothing that makes them feel unstoppable. So if I have this little platform, I’m going to do my best to use it to work with brands that are trying to make that happen whenever I can. #ad

LOFT is another favorite brand of mine that I’ve been lucky enough to work with this year. I love LOFT because the sizing is straight-forward, the silhouettes are fun without being so trendy that you’ll throw the pieces out in two months, and everything is comfortable. Plus, the brand is accessible and actually has plus sizes in stores. What’s not to love?

I wrote this caption out about 12 times last night and just deleted them all. I couldn’t figure out exactly what’s been on my mind lately, what to share, how to connect right now. But then I thought — well, what would I say if I was getting coffee with a friend? — I’d probably tell a friend that things are BUSY and that I can feel that 2019 will be a year of changes. That January is a weird month. Should I try to settle down? Should I go full steam ahead with my new goals? It feels overwhelming to figure that out right now. A little bit scary. — Instagram is about community for me. Connecting with you all, having conversations, sparking inspiration from each other. So often when I post things I feel like I owe it to you all to provide something — advice or inspiration or insight or humor. The things I get from all of you. But above all, I also want to be honest. Always. So, honestly, it’s a weird time right now and I’m very in my own head and I don’t have as much to say as usual. But, it’ll pass. It always does. And I hope you guys will still be here when it does. ✨

It’s true that part of the reason I love this particular jumpsuit is that it symbolizes a pretty transformational time in my life. It was one of the first items that I wore despite the fact that I thought I wasn’t “supposed” to as a size 14. Also, Tan France personally suggested I get it… so…. there is also that. Seriously speaking, though, it’s one of my favorite staples to bring when I travel since it is so versatile and so comfortable. It’s not on the Express site anymore, but I liked some of my favorite similar pieces above.
This Target Jumpsuit That I Am Pretty Sure Is Pajamas But Also I Don’t Really Care
SHOP HERE: Target Cozy Jumpsuit
OK, I am going to be honest: I would die for this jumpsuit. I bought it while at a suburban Target the other day as one of those, “Well, that feels really soft” purchases that you just throw in your red cart on a whim and hope for the best. Friends, I am not exaggerating when I say this jumpsuit is heaven. I wear it pretty much everywhere and when it is in the washing machine, I am sad. Also: it’s easy to take off to pee. I don’t have a cute Instagram photo of me in it, but there is the one above. It’s CUTE. It’s COMFY. It’s SOFT. It’s FROM TARGET. I don’t know why I’m yelling, but I am. I love this jumpsuit. Buy it. That is all.
